Destination unknown

Today is Twilight Zone Day.  I would celebrate by embarking on a marathon...but alas, I have no TV.  I do, however, have my bow from December 30th.
Since I'm fond of The Twilight Zone I predict this bow will get a lot of wear, just as my Pac-Man bow has.  Truthfully a lot of my bows from DollfaceDesignss get a lot of mileage since they're comfortable, not too big, and not too small.

It's also National Train Day, but I've yet to find a hair bow that's train-themed.  I show my allegiance to trains with my Chessie System badges.  LOL, I can remember seeing Chessie System rolling stock when I was little and thinking "That mark looks just like a kitty cat!"  This is what the mark looks like; it's a stylized letter C.
Turns out that the C IS a kitty cat!  Chessie is her name, and in the original artwork she was your everyday tabby cat, the kind everyone has seen or owned at least once, the kind whose surname would be "Smith" or "Jones."  Kinda nondescript in appearance, maybe, but still a good cat.  This one is mine, and it should be no surprise that I named her Chessie.  Part of my problem child, Tommy, can also be seen in the background.
Indeed, I kinda have two Chessie-style cats.  In pictures Chessie's fur has a vaguely silver cast, while Lily is a torbie.  See the orange mark on her head?
Lily isn't as pretty right now as she was.  The fleas are bad in the Bootheel this spring, and I think Lily is allergic to them.  She's lost a lot of fur as a result, and meds haven't helped her much.  She's just as sweet as ever, though.  And I'm not giving up the battle.

Yet another patriotic one.  This one came from Etsy, but I don't know what shop it was. This one is one of three that my mother got for me in one fell swoop.  The others are the jellybean bow from June 3rd and the flag bow from June 14th . Like them, this bow is a big one. Pac-Man fever

For the record, I suck at Pac-Man.  I've only played it a handful of times, but each time I couldn't get past the first level.  I guess it's one of those games that requires practice and patience...and patience is NOT one of my virtues!  Regardless, I do like Pac-Man.  Compared to the dumb video games we have today Pac-Man's simple innocence is...well, it's pretty nice.  Unfortunately I'm about to make myself look like a complete hypocrite, because my Pac-Man is munching more than just little white pellets! Phooey on pellets and fruit and ghosts, Pac-Man's hitting the hard stuff!  The Etsy carrier, DollfaceDesignss , goes heavy on the horror, so I guess Pill-Popper Pac-Man is kinda tame compared to Psycho .  Whatevs, I like my accessories a little (or a lot) on the offbeat side, so I'm happy.  This is a mighty nice bow, by the way.  Some of my bows pull my hair like mad, but this one slid right in. International Sloth Day

Y'all know what that means! I think I've worn and shown this bow before (shop name is CherylsBowtasticBows ), but it's one of my favorites because SLOTHS, that's why!  I don't think I ever showed y'all my earrings, though. Those also came from Etsy (shop name is JMDesignsbyUS ), and they're made of wood.  JMDesigns is located in Sedalia, so usually when I order from them I get my item(s) toot sweet.  I never have been to Sedalia, by the way.  They seem to be a tornado magnet, having been hit in 1952, 1973, 1977, and 1980, so maybe I'd best NOT go.  The tornado in 1952 hit the Missouri State Fair, by the way.  Normally it's a bad thing for a tornado to hit during the night, but in that case it was a very good thing, as the fairgrounds were fairly empty.  Indeed, the only fatality in the 1952 storm was in a mobile home, not on the fairgrounds.  But enuff of that; this is supposed to be about sloths, not tornadoes!  If you've read my doll blog t...
