The Bow Belle

According to one of my favorite holiday websites, today is Someday.  But I'm a day off and wore my avocado bow! That's what I get for not checking!  Oh well, won't kill me to wear the same bow two days runnin'. Love, RagingMoon1987

Usually I reserve plastic bows for rainy days, but there ain't a cloud in sight. NWS is expecting the heat index in Malden to hit 109 today, and as I said the other day our A/C likes to conk out when it gets too hot outside.  It even did it in the middle of the night last night, which it usually doesn't do.  What can I say, the poor thing is old and needs a good cleaning. Now, God...I'll hire some Native Americans to do a rain dance if I have too.  PLEASE send some rain, or a cold front or SOMETHING!!! Hot love, RagingMoon1987

National Cheese Day.  I don't have a bow with just cheese, but I have the next best thing!  Etsy shop is HeavenSentBowtique . I love me some mac and cheese...as long as it's not too mooshy.  Sometimes folks cook the noodles to death and they're just...mooshy.  But I can deal with mooshy noodles if the flavor is good, like it is at our local KFC.  My favorite mac and cheese has some kind of meat in it, something like chicken or bacon. Now cheese in general...I would say I'm an enthusiast, but I don't sit around eating cheese, nor have I tasted a lot of the cheeses that cheese enthusiasts do indulge in, so I'll just say that I like cheese and be done with it.  I like it melted on chicken or on my hamburgers, I like the phony stuff that goes on soft pretzels, and more than just about anything I love beer cheese dip.  I haven't had that in a long time, and just thinking about it gets my mouth watering. Seeing as it's just ham and eggs with food coloring, yeah, I can stomach it!   Hmmm...or maybe it's NOT green food coloring! This one is a special bow, as a local lady named Claudia Gage King made it.  Miss Claudia is manager of the local Dollar Tree and sells hair bows as a side gig.  Her coworkers also tell me that she's got a website, though I haven't yet found it.  When I DO find it I'll update with a link.  She's got some cute stuff in multiple sizes, and she told me that she was open to commissions. As to Dr. Seuss...killecrankie, I think everyone loves Dr. Seuss, no matter how old they are.  Green Eggs and Ham is one of those classics that remains popular in the current day.  Indeed, I forget how many copies of the book my library has lost over the years.  Jerks will check 'em out and just...not bring 'em back, fines be damned.  As for me, I love how Sam-I-Am lets his unnamed friend's opening lines roll off his back.  UNNAME...

Like yesterday's candy cane bow, I found this one waaaaaaay earlier than I should have. I did say at the beginning of fall that I wanted more plaid bows, and now I've got another one!  I also like the insignia in the middle; I'm fond of shaker bows.  I don't have too many, but I like 'em. I must say that like Thanksgiving I am NOT looking forward to this Christmas.  No sister, no brother-in-law, no Uncle From St. Louis, and likely no exciting presents.  Though in response to that last bit, all I want is a new floor lamp.  My old one broke, sad face.  Even the temperature outside doesn't feel like Christmas; yesterday it hit sixty-two degrees.  It's supposed to cool down a bit early next week, but then it'll warm up again and rain like piss out of a boot.  Not very Decemberish, but then I positively hate it when it's cold! I hope y'all are having fun so far!  Likely by now the kiddies are out of school and you're battening down the hatches for...
