Return of the panda bow

Today is no particular holiday, so I dug deep in my box and came up with an old favorite.  Pandas are never out of season, OR out of style!

Some of my pandas take a page out of JoJo's book, and are wearing bows themselves.  I guess that for a bear they'd be ear bows.  Flaxie, my Build-a-Bear, wears her bows on her ears, so that works.  Flaxie is one of those Wal-Mart Build-a-Bears that could've been either gender, so it's up to me to make it clear that my particular bear is a girl.

Shucks, I wish I could find a red panda bow for meself, one that DIDN'T have Turning Red as a theme!  I liked red pandas before Turning Red made them cool, thank you.  I liked 'em before Aggretsuko came along too, but I'll ignore that because Retsuko is fifty shades of awesome.  I have nothing against Turning Red either, but I'd just like a simple red panda bow, one kinda like my sloth bow.

But...giant pandas are wicked cool too.  Indeed, I've got a buddy at the library who likes giant pandas, and every time I wear this bow I think of her.  I've said this before, I never have understood how a critter like a panda bear (or ANY bear) could be so adorable and yet be quite dangerous if tangled with.  Simple answer, leave 'em be (LOL).  Nevertheless I think panda bears are extra-special.

Let freedom ring

Yet another patriotic one.  This one came from Etsy, but I don't know what shop it was. This one is one of three that my mother got for me in one fell swoop.  The others are the jellybean bow from June 3rd and the flag bow from June 14th . Like them, this bow is a big one. Pac-Man fever

For the record, I suck at Pac-Man.  I've only played it a handful of times, but each time I couldn't get past the first level.  I guess it's one of those games that requires practice and patience...and patience is NOT one of my virtues!  Regardless, I do like Pac-Man.  Compared to the dumb video games we have today Pac-Man's simple innocence is...well, it's pretty nice.  Unfortunately I'm about to make myself look like a complete hypocrite, because my Pac-Man is munching more than just little white pellets! Phooey on pellets and fruit and ghosts, Pac-Man's hitting the hard stuff!  The Etsy carrier, DollfaceDesignss , goes heavy on the horror, so I guess Pill-Popper Pac-Man is kinda tame compared to Psycho .  Whatevs, I like my accessories a little (or a lot) on the offbeat side, so I'm happy.  This is a mighty nice bow, by the way.  Some of my bows pull my hair like mad, but this one slid right in. International Sloth Day

Y'all know what that means! I think I've worn and shown this bow before (shop name is CherylsBowtasticBows ), but it's one of my favorites because SLOTHS, that's why!  I don't think I ever showed y'all my earrings, though. Those also came from Etsy (shop name is JMDesignsbyUS ), and they're made of wood.  JMDesigns is located in Sedalia, so usually when I order from them I get my item(s) toot sweet.  I never have been to Sedalia, by the way.  They seem to be a tornado magnet, having been hit in 1952, 1973, 1977, and 1980, so maybe I'd best NOT go.  The tornado in 1952 hit the Missouri State Fair, by the way.  Normally it's a bad thing for a tornado to hit during the night, but in that case it was a very good thing, as the fairgrounds were fairly empty.  Indeed, the only fatality in the 1952 storm was in a mobile home, not on the fairgrounds.  But enuff of that; this is supposed to be about sloths, not tornadoes!  If you've read my doll blog t...
