Does pineapple belong on pizza?
My vote is for yes, but you do you. As Garfield once pointed out, no one can EVER agree on pizza toppings. LOL, today is National Pizza Day. Shop is KallieBowCo.
What aliens have to do with pizza, I don't know, but I love the juxtaposition. If Pizza Hut is to be believed, it was extraterrestrial pizza-cutter aliens who made stuffed crust pizza popular, so there's that, I guess. LOL, I loved those Pizza Head commercials!
I don't know really what to say about pizza, except that there is a fanbase devoted enuff to have their own magazine. Dolly fans, knitters, Whovians, and railfans all have their own magazines, and apparently so do pizza fans. PMQ Pizza Magazine is who I turn to on the rare occasion when I need info on pizza, LOL. In September of 2011 they ran an interesting article on the pizza joints that were wiped out by the then-recent Joplin tornado, discussing everything from Pizza Hut to the local mom 'n' pop shops. The Pizza Hut on Range Line Road is where the manager died, if I recall correctly. <pauses to read> Yeah, that was the one. Twenty-some-odd people were hiding in the freezer of that particular restaurant, and the manager and one of his coworkers died trying to keep them all safe. The self-sacrifice apparently worked; there were injuries, but everyone else in the freezer lived. Pizza By Stout, a local eat joint, chose not to rebuild in the aftermath. Its owners elected to retire.
LOL, how do ya like that? Start a diatribe on pizza, end it with yet another discussion on tornadoes! That's how I roll, y'all. Dolls, hair bows, tornadoes...that's essentially how I pass the time. Not much of an existence, I don't guess, but I have fun. As for my relationship with pizza, I'm mighty fond of the ones our local Casey's makes. They have an option for CHICKEN on their pizzas, and baby spinach too! I wonder if anchovies are an option (LOL again)?
Pizza love,
