Awww, nuts!

My family has to be extremely careful about peanuts nowadays, because my brother-in-law has a peanut allergy.  But when he's not around my mom and I love peanuts and peanut butter sandwiches.  Oh, and the occasional Butterfinger bar.  I freaking love those.  Truth be told I love anything that's got peanut butter in it.

I knew a kid that DIDN'T like peanut butter, though.  He was and still is our preacher's son, and when he was little he couldn't stand peanut butter.  I don't know why, never did find out why, but he didn't care for the stuff.  Admittedly it can get cloying after awhile.  But I never thought to ask him why, and he never said, and it wasn't my business anyway.  I just thought it was kinda funny, because most kids love peanut butter.

Of course the debate still rages:  creamy or crunchy peanut butter.  I like both, but if you aimed a gun at my chest and told me to pick or die I'd pick creamy.  My mother, when asked the same question, said crunchy.  So you tell me, LOL!

Yet another patriotic one.  This one came from Etsy, but I don't know what shop it was. This one is one of three that my mother got for me in one fell swoop.  The others are the jellybean bow from June 3rd and the flag bow from June 14th . Like them, this bow is a big one. Pac-Man fever

For the record, I suck at Pac-Man.  I've only played it a handful of times, but each time I couldn't get past the first level.  I guess it's one of those games that requires practice and patience...and patience is NOT one of my virtues!  Regardless, I do like Pac-Man.  Compared to the dumb video games we have today Pac-Man's simple innocence is...well, it's pretty nice.  Unfortunately I'm about to make myself look like a complete hypocrite, because my Pac-Man is munching more than just little white pellets! Phooey on pellets and fruit and ghosts, Pac-Man's hitting the hard stuff!  The Etsy carrier, DollfaceDesignss , goes heavy on the horror, so I guess Pill-Popper Pac-Man is kinda tame compared to Psycho .  Whatevs, I like my accessories a little (or a lot) on the offbeat side, so I'm happy.  This is a mighty nice bow, by the way.  Some of my bows pull my hair like mad, but this one slid right in. International Sloth Day

Y'all know what that means! I think I've worn and shown this bow before (shop name is CherylsBowtasticBows ), but it's one of my favorites because SLOTHS, that's why!  I don't think I ever showed y'all my earrings, though. Those also came from Etsy (shop name is JMDesignsbyUS ), and they're made of wood.  JMDesigns is located in Sedalia, so usually when I order from them I get my item(s) toot sweet.  I never have been to Sedalia, by the way.  They seem to be a tornado magnet, having been hit in 1952, 1973, 1977, and 1980, so maybe I'd best NOT go.  The tornado in 1952 hit the Missouri State Fair, by the way.  Normally it's a bad thing for a tornado to hit during the night, but in that case it was a very good thing, as the fairgrounds were fairly empty.  Indeed, the only fatality in the 1952 storm was in a mobile home, not on the fairgrounds.  But enuff of that; this is supposed to be about sloths, not tornadoes!  If you've read my doll blog t...
