I like Minnie Mouse!

So said one of my foreign exchange friends when I admired her polka dot fingernails.  She'd like my bow for today.

LOL, y'all can see how thin my hair is getting!  Last summer the library's reading program talked about famous Missourians, and one of the Missourians they talked about was the one and only Walt Disney.  I personally love Disney stuff, liberal or no, and when my boss said we'd be talking about Walt during one of our meetings I got a bow to commemorate.  Of course now I can wear it whenever I want, LOL again.

My college friend loved Minnie Mouse, and I...oh gosh, I like Goofy an awful lot.  When I was in high school I used to talk like him to get a rise out of my sister.  I'd even extend it to singing; I'd sing something silly like "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star" in his voice and end it with "Hyuck, gawrsh!"  My mother, who can have a quick temper and who gets very loud when she loses said temper, relates to Donald Duck.  Or rather, Daddy and Uncle from St. Louis related her to Donald Duck.  Heck, I guess all three of us chicks in the family can be like Donald if we're pushed too far!

Yet another patriotic one.  This one came from Etsy, but I don't know what shop it was. This one is one of three that my mother got for me in one fell swoop.  The others are the jellybean bow from June 3rd and the flag bow from June 14th . Like them, this bow is a big one. Pac-Man fever

For the record, I suck at Pac-Man.  I've only played it a handful of times, but each time I couldn't get past the first level.  I guess it's one of those games that requires practice and patience...and patience is NOT one of my virtues!  Regardless, I do like Pac-Man.  Compared to the dumb video games we have today Pac-Man's simple innocence is...well, it's pretty nice.  Unfortunately I'm about to make myself look like a complete hypocrite, because my Pac-Man is munching more than just little white pellets! Phooey on pellets and fruit and ghosts, Pac-Man's hitting the hard stuff!  The Etsy carrier, DollfaceDesignss , goes heavy on the horror, so I guess Pill-Popper Pac-Man is kinda tame compared to Psycho .  Whatevs, I like my accessories a little (or a lot) on the offbeat side, so I'm happy.  This is a mighty nice bow, by the way.  Some of my bows pull my hair like mad, but this one slid right in. International Sloth Day

Y'all know what that means! I think I've worn and shown this bow before (shop name is CherylsBowtasticBows ), but it's one of my favorites because SLOTHS, that's why!  I don't think I ever showed y'all my earrings, though. Those also came from Etsy (shop name is JMDesignsbyUS ), and they're made of wood.  JMDesigns is located in Sedalia, so usually when I order from them I get my item(s) toot sweet.  I never have been to Sedalia, by the way.  They seem to be a tornado magnet, having been hit in 1952, 1973, 1977, and 1980, so maybe I'd best NOT go.  The tornado in 1952 hit the Missouri State Fair, by the way.  Normally it's a bad thing for a tornado to hit during the night, but in that case it was a very good thing, as the fairgrounds were fairly empty.  Indeed, the only fatality in the 1952 storm was in a mobile home, not on the fairgrounds.  But enuff of that; this is supposed to be about sloths, not tornadoes!  If you've read my doll blog t...
