You are the one for me

The bow today is a simple one, a pink grosgrain cheer bow that I picked up at Wal-Mart when I first started wearing hair bows.

The earrings, on the other hand...well, they're these.  Etsy shop is hobbittownjewelry.

The doll is the same on each earring, and she's one of my favorites, My Child.  My Child dolls were glorified rag dolls that were meant to compete with Cabbage Patch Kids.  Despite being better looking all-around than Cabbies, My Child wasn't around long, and as a result a doll in good condition can go for...oh, a couple hundred bucks.  My doll's name is Morgan, and her review of her can be found HERE, but if you don't want to click on the link, here's a better look at her.  Morgan has a saggy, faded face, so I only had to pay eighty bucks for her.  Both problems can be mended, but I haven't gotten to it yet.

Please ignore the fact that Morgan is wearing a Magic Nursery dress.  My Child could share clothes with Magic Nursery toddlers.  But anyway, I'm not gonna bore y'all to death with idle dolly chatter...unless y'all came here from my dolly blog, LOL.  The commercials for My Child can be found HERE and HERE, and more information on the line can be found HERE and HERE.  And regarding my hair bow, hopefully tomorrow I'll be out of the pink rut, since both yesterday's bow and today's bow were pink!

Yet another patriotic one.  This one came from Etsy, but I don't know what shop it was. This one is one of three that my mother got for me in one fell swoop.  The others are the jellybean bow from June 3rd and the flag bow from June 14th . Like them, this bow is a big one. Pac-Man fever

For the record, I suck at Pac-Man.  I've only played it a handful of times, but each time I couldn't get past the first level.  I guess it's one of those games that requires practice and patience...and patience is NOT one of my virtues!  Regardless, I do like Pac-Man.  Compared to the dumb video games we have today Pac-Man's simple innocence is...well, it's pretty nice.  Unfortunately I'm about to make myself look like a complete hypocrite, because my Pac-Man is munching more than just little white pellets! Phooey on pellets and fruit and ghosts, Pac-Man's hitting the hard stuff!  The Etsy carrier, DollfaceDesignss , goes heavy on the horror, so I guess Pill-Popper Pac-Man is kinda tame compared to Psycho .  Whatevs, I like my accessories a little (or a lot) on the offbeat side, so I'm happy.  This is a mighty nice bow, by the way.  Some of my bows pull my hair like mad, but this one slid right in. International Sloth Day

Y'all know what that means! I think I've worn and shown this bow before (shop name is CherylsBowtasticBows ), but it's one of my favorites because SLOTHS, that's why!  I don't think I ever showed y'all my earrings, though. Those also came from Etsy (shop name is JMDesignsbyUS ), and they're made of wood.  JMDesigns is located in Sedalia, so usually when I order from them I get my item(s) toot sweet.  I never have been to Sedalia, by the way.  They seem to be a tornado magnet, having been hit in 1952, 1973, 1977, and 1980, so maybe I'd best NOT go.  The tornado in 1952 hit the Missouri State Fair, by the way.  Normally it's a bad thing for a tornado to hit during the night, but in that case it was a very good thing, as the fairgrounds were fairly empty.  Indeed, the only fatality in the 1952 storm was in a mobile home, not on the fairgrounds.  But enuff of that; this is supposed to be about sloths, not tornadoes!  If you've read my doll blog t...
