The wrong box and the right box

Finally, the saga of the lemonade bow is complete!  As y'all have probably noticed, a lot of my nicer bows are gifts from my mother, and that is the case today.  She ordered several bows from one store at the beginning of May, and before too long the package she ordered was on the way...or so Mama thought.  A day before the box arrived Mama received a message from the seller warning her that the box she was about to receive contained the wrong order.  The seller reassured Mama that she'd make it right, and long story short, she did.  So now I have two boxes full of hair bows, and since the first one had the wrong order it was sort of a blind box opening.  Toy fans tend to like blind box items, and I am a toy fan, so this excited me.  Here's my first glimpse of the contents of the wrong box.  Presumptive store is AdoraBowsStore, which was already one of my favorite shops.
Here's the contents!  There's eight of 'em all told.
Even though this box wasn't meant for me, I feel like someone knew me pretty well.  All of them have polka dots somewhere except for the UK bow, and y'all know my opinions on polka dots.  This one is green and blue with argyle and polka dots, just like I like...
...while the big one has the University of Kentucky Wildcats on it.  UK is special to my family because that's where my sister began her doctoral training.
The Trolls bow also made me giggle, since I used to like the old-school wishniks.  Had a huge collection of 'em, and they drove my parents nuts.  I don't know Bo Diddley from Bing Crosby about the more recent ones though, so now's a good time to learn!  But then again the soundtrack consists mainly of barfy modern pop music, so maybe I'm better off not knowing!  Either way the bow is cute.
Then there's the lemonade bow, which y'all saw on May 27th.
That isn't all of 'em, but I want to save a few for some other time.  Now, my first glimpse of the right box...
...and the contents!  Please ignore my cat's paw at top right; Tommy thinks he's gotta be involved in everything. 
Holidays and lemonade.  That's more my speed...or my mother's, rather, since she likes seasonal stuff.  The lemonade bow looks like a duplicate of the "Mommy's little squeeze" bow, but it's not.  The bottle cap has "Summer days" written on it.  
My mother's reviews of the boxes, plus the numerous other reviews saying "My daughter loves this" makes me wonder...does this proprietor know that unlike a lot of her clientele my mother's daughter is 35.5 years old???  LOL, I'd love to see the look on her face when and if she finds out!

I'll be back in business tomorrow.  It's been a nice long weekend.

Yet another patriotic one.  This one came from Etsy, but I don't know what shop it was. This one is one of three that my mother got for me in one fell swoop.  The others are the jellybean bow from June 3rd and the flag bow from June 14th . Like them, this bow is a big one. Pac-Man fever

For the record, I suck at Pac-Man.  I've only played it a handful of times, but each time I couldn't get past the first level.  I guess it's one of those games that requires practice and patience...and patience is NOT one of my virtues!  Regardless, I do like Pac-Man.  Compared to the dumb video games we have today Pac-Man's simple innocence is...well, it's pretty nice.  Unfortunately I'm about to make myself look like a complete hypocrite, because my Pac-Man is munching more than just little white pellets! Phooey on pellets and fruit and ghosts, Pac-Man's hitting the hard stuff!  The Etsy carrier, DollfaceDesignss , goes heavy on the horror, so I guess Pill-Popper Pac-Man is kinda tame compared to Psycho .  Whatevs, I like my accessories a little (or a lot) on the offbeat side, so I'm happy.  This is a mighty nice bow, by the way.  Some of my bows pull my hair like mad, but this one slid right in. International Sloth Day

Y'all know what that means! I think I've worn and shown this bow before (shop name is CherylsBowtasticBows ), but it's one of my favorites because SLOTHS, that's why!  I don't think I ever showed y'all my earrings, though. Those also came from Etsy (shop name is JMDesignsbyUS ), and they're made of wood.  JMDesigns is located in Sedalia, so usually when I order from them I get my item(s) toot sweet.  I never have been to Sedalia, by the way.  They seem to be a tornado magnet, having been hit in 1952, 1973, 1977, and 1980, so maybe I'd best NOT go.  The tornado in 1952 hit the Missouri State Fair, by the way.  Normally it's a bad thing for a tornado to hit during the night, but in that case it was a very good thing, as the fairgrounds were fairly empty.  Indeed, the only fatality in the 1952 storm was in a mobile home, not on the fairgrounds.  But enuff of that; this is supposed to be about sloths, not tornadoes!  If you've read my doll blog t...
