Another spooky bow for Thursday
Ah, Thursday! I used to live for Thursday nights, because that was when TLC would air two of my favorite TV shows. Medical Detectives was a fairly graphic program about how forensics solved crimes and medical mysteries (the program later went under the name Forensic Files), while Without Warning offered brief rundowns of disasters that usually killed someone and always taught a lesson. Kinda like an extremely abbreviated version of Seconds From Disaster. On top of all that, the program that came on before those shows was Trauma: Life in the E.R., which was also pretty graphic. Yeah, while my buddies were tuning in for All That or whatever Cartoon Network ran around that time, I was watching people die in a brutal murder, or in a car crash, or in a collapse at some hotel or some bridge that seemed a world away at the time. Tonight I may watch a couple of episodes of Forensic Files later for old time's sake; "Without a Trace," "Core Evidence," and "Killer Fog" are my favorite episodes. Yeah...anyway, with that lighthearted little intro out of the way, I present another Halloween bow.
It's your typical JoJo Bow, with an appropriately decorated cupcake and images of JoJo and her dog BowBow with matching bows. I tell y'all what, I wouldn't mind having bows like the ones JoJo and the cupcake are wearing, just simple colors that can be worn outside of Halloween. How hard could it be?
I don't know if any of y'all ever had Halloween parties or "Harvest" parties at school, but for us it was an excuse to get high on sugar BEFORE Halloween. Inevitably there was candy and goodies galore, and someone always supplied cupcakes. Here is where I deviate from the norm. Everyone loves chocolate cake, right? I like chocolate cake too, but when it comes to cupcakes my favorite flavor is plain old vanilla. I don't know why, but that's always been my favorite, especially when it has the colored spots baked inside. I may get some cupcakes to celebrate Halloween this year.
