The Bow Belle

It's Gallbladder Good Health Day, and ever since my mama's gallbladder darn near killed her I've kept tabs on awareness.  The awareness color is green. Keep a close eye on that gallbladder, kiddies!  Eat right, keep your weight under control, and see a doctor if anything feels weird.  It could save you from five months of plastic in your belly and a loved one draining your plastic twice a day. Speaking of green, dig Tuesday's nail mail! The bottle in the center is Estessimo TINS in "The Surfer Boy."  It's a Japanese release, complete with the kanji on the back.  TIMS stands for Takara International Nails, meaning that I need to do a little more research.  Takara is responsible for Licca-chan, one of my favorite fashion dolls, and other cute dolls and toys.  The others are Hard Candy, and their names are *"Fun 'n' Festive" *"Record Breaker" *"Emerald Cut" *"Teeny Greeny" *"Gummy Green" *"Island ...

Yep, it's apparently Teal Talk Day.  I do not have a teal bow, so I dug out a grubby workhorse.  She needs some TLC, but she's a good bow. Teal Talk?  I like teal and I love to wear teal, but there isn't much to say about it or any other color.  Maybe they want us to talk like a teal...meaning a type of duck, LOL.  This feller is a blue-winged teal... ...this chap is a green-winged teal... ...and these are cinnamon teals.  Fitting name! Blue-winged and green-winged teals live where I live, and the cinnamon teal, lives in the Southwest.  Daddy said that teals were good eatin', but they were such agile flyers that shooting them was all but impossible.  Daddy wasn't big on hunting anyway.  He did it as a child, but grew out of it when he learned that geese mate for life.  As far back as I can remember, Daddy never went hunting.  He was an expert marksman, but he didn't hunt. Got an MRI scheduled for today.  That means no metal jewelry, and the ol' bow will have to come out when I'm in the tube.  I picked an old favorite today, since I'll be among doctors. The future is looking uncertain for our dear time lord.  The producers are saying one thing, then another, then still another, and we fans (casual and hardcore alike) are kinda left in the dark.  Nothing Earth-shattering yet, but I personally am wondering (as are many Whovians):  WHO IS OUR NEW DOCTOR GONNA BE???  I hope to God it's not Billie Piper; I liked Rose Tyler and I have nothing against Miss Billie as a person, but she already had her turn in a big role!!! I s'pose we'll find out soon enuff.  In the meantime, I get to look forward to a 150-mile round trip with Uncle Man-Child.  I figure he'll either try to get me to talk to him or turn the radio on some modern pop station.  Shudder...a pox on Bruno Mars.  I wish he'd taken a different occupation. Arr, me mateys, it be National Talk Like a Pirate Day!  Alas, I have no bow for that. When I was younger scrunchies were my go-to, and I still like 'em from time to time.  This one has bits that dangle, so it's a bit more interesting than your regular scrunchie.  It's also tight! Jeez, I gotta find a way to make this blog more interesting! Love, RagingMoon1987

Daisy Davenport, Girl of the Year 2027, either has been released or will soon be released.  In honor of this occasion I'm wearing my American Girl bow. I've got a tacky shirt somewhere too, LOL.  I like tacky.  I can't say that I'm too excited about Daisy Davenport, though, as she appears to be yet another white doll with the Josefina face.  But she'll no doubt appeal to some little girls and adult collectors out there. Joy to the world,  RagingMoon1987

Today's bow is one of those I picked up out of the toy area in Wal-Mart.  It's got L.O.L. Surprise emojis on it. I kinda wonder if L.O.L. Surprises aren't on the downturn.  I don't see as many advertisements, and the handful of little girls I see don't talk about them.  But I see so few children nowadays, so their word doesn't count for much. Oh yeah, purple bow!  I have a few more than I thought I did . Cheers, RagingMoon1987

Yep, I'd forgotten!  Today is National Guacamole Day.   This is one of my heavier bows.  I'm sorry to say that it pulls my hair some, but not as bad as this bow and this bow ! It's still blistering hot outside.  KAIT says that this is the hottest September on our record so far, and I wish the heat dome would TAKE.  A.  HIKE!!!!!!! All of my love, RagingMoon1987
