Anything goes
Wasn't sure what to wear today, so I picked my frog bow.
Funny thing, I run into more brown frogs than I do green, and most of the green ones I've met have white bellies. But I don't make a habit of picking frogs up to check, so maybe plenty of 'em have yellow bellies.
No, despite my fondness for frogs and toads I try to avoid picking them up. Their little bones feel fragile, and they don't have ribs at all so ham-handing frogs and toads can fatally damage their hearts or lungs. I don't wanna cause undeserved, unintentional pain to one of my favorite creatures, so I leave the little guys be if I can. I will pick them up to relocate 'em (cupped hands), as my dogs are idiots and don't know that toads taste nasty and can make a doggie sick. Otherwise I look and don't touch, even though I love the moist, soft feel of a frog's skin.
